65 numbered books with woodcuts bound in hemp paper laid into linen tray case; 18 books, I-XVIII bound in full vellum laid into Japanese wood veneered box with loose woodcut sheet added as special edition. Text: 13 point Monotype Bembo, cast by Michael & Winifred Biller. Binding: hemp paper made by Timothy Barrett. Images bound into the book are not individually signed. The key linter detail of each woodblock was hand drawn by the artist and then photographically prepared. Woodcuts in the bound book were printed two up on flat sheets which were folded after printing and bound into the spine of the book. In each pairing the figure on the right facing page reads as warm red over warm grey, and the left reads as deep red over charcoal gray.
